Happy New Year! We rung in the New Year
and celebrated Chris's Birthday last night over local, pulled pork
(raised by our friend, Amanda, in Aquebogue), barbecue chicken grilled
in our Lexington-style sauce, and Chris's famous Angel Biscuits, made in
the traditional Southern-way with rendered pork fat from
Mecox Bay Dairy Farm leaf lard.
The
Riverhead Indoor Market returns
this Saturday from 10-3 with all of your favorite farmers in one place
at 117 East Main Street downtown. Try the pork from Mecox Bay Dairy! You
can also pick-up a
Feisty Acres Farm package of Organic quail along with your
Browder's
Birds Organic eggs. Our farmstand is open Saturday & Sunday from
12-5 PM. Come out to visit the farm before it gets too cold to walk out and see the chickens, ducks, sheep and new baby chicks.
