Join us on Saturday, September 26th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for our Annual Farm Picnic.  The Hamptons Aristocrat is helping us prepare the food and the menu includes:

House-made Barbecue Browder's Chicken
Kale Caesar (using our organic egg yolks)
Deviled eggs topped with Goodwater Farms Organic microgreens
Browder's Chicken Pot Mini Pies
Handmade Ravioli (made with our egg yolks)
Local Tomatoes & Watermelon
Minty Moonpies with Organic egg white Meringue
Homemade Ice Cream
Chris's Famous Angel Biscuits

There will be games for the kids (and adults) including the Egg Toss and Feed Sack race.  Come and celebrate the end of the season with us and share in the bounty of the harvest.

Tickets are available in our Pantry.  Special pricing for our CSA Members and for kids (14 and under); children under 5 are free.

Happy New Year!

Looks like we are starting the New Year with a blast...  Of snow and wind and cold.  Our Laying Hens are staying toasty-warm by the heat lamps from the brooder. And thank you Dennis, our employee of the month -- and only current employee -- for the great idea!

We hope you had a wonderful New Years Eve.  It was also Chris's birthday so we celebrated with a traditional North Carolina-style barbecue.  Along with a smoked pork shoulder from Mecox Bay Dairy Farm, we served our Browder's Deviled Eggs and Newberry Barbecue Chicken. We also served Lamb ribs with honey and wine marinade, which were outstanding. If you bought one of our lambs, you must try it!

Note: Due to weather conditions, the first Winter Egg Share pick-up is this Sunday from 2 - 5:00 PM at the farm.
